Ways we fix damaged or missing teeth

Restorative dentistry is the plain-English name for putting a tooth back to working order, whether it's cracked, worn, decayed, or gone entirely. The right fix depends on what happened and what you're after.

Tooth-colored fillings

For cavities and small chips, matched to your tooth. Often done the same day we find one.

Dental crowns

A custom cap for a tooth too damaged for a filling, or a replacement for an old crown that's worn out or failing, made to look and chew like the real thing.

Dental bridges

A fixed way to fill the gap from a missing tooth, anchored to the healthy teeth beside it.

Dental implants

The permanent, standalone replacement for a missing tooth, from the root up.

Dentures

Full or partial, modern and better-fitting, for replacing several teeth.

Root canals, coordinated

We don't do them in-house. We refer you to a trusted endodontist, then finish with the crown at Rinse.

The process

What happens, and how long it takes

The biggest surprise in restorative work is usually the timeline. Some fixes are one visit, some aren't, and we'll tell you which up front. If there's more than one thing going on, a cracked tooth and an old crown that's giving out, say, you get a single plan that handles it all in the right order.

1

Exam and digital X-rays

A full look above and below the gumline, so the plan is based on facts.

2

Your plan, with the price

Options in clear terms, a firm estimate before anything starts, and your benefits checked first.

3

The fix, on a real timeline

Fillings are usually one visit. Crowns take about two weeks, since they're custom-made at a trusted lab. Bridges and dentures run a few visits.

4

You leave knowing what's next

Simple aftercare, and a straight answer on what to watch for.

Compare your options

Filling, crown, bridge, implant, or denture?

The right fix depends on how much of the tooth is left and how many are missing. Here's how the options compare, so you walk in knowing what to ask.

The questions we hear most

Still have questions? We'd rather you ask than wonder.

Call us. We'll give it to you straight, insurance questions included.

It depends on the fix and your insurance. A filling and a full set of dentures are different conversations. You'll always see a clear estimate before anything starts, and bigger treatment can be financed.

Most restorative work is more comfortable than people expect, and we keep you numb and looked-after throughout. Recovery depends on the procedure, and we'll walk you through it before you commit.

Most major plans cover a good share of restorative care, and we verify your benefits before you come in.

About two weeks. Your crown is custom-made at a lab, so we prep the tooth and fit a temporary first, then place the final crown once it's ready. Fillings, we can usually do the same day.
We don't do them in-house. We refer you to a trusted endodontist for that step, then finish with the crown back at Rinse. We coordinate the referral and the timing, so it's one plan you're following, not two offices to chase.
